MainStay Suites Joliet I-55

If you don't like something they will accommodate to the best of their ability. I stayed here for almost a month, I'm a germaphobe so I had concerns and I asked them to make a few adjustments and the front desk staff and the hotel staff Maria did exactly what I needed them to do to calm my anxiety. All of the front desk staff is amazing, it is close to a mall and good food choices. I wish they served breakfast they only serve coffee. CON: I AM ALLERGIC TO DOGS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD MAKE THE CUSTOMERS HOLD THEIR DOG TIGHTLY UNTIL THE OTHER CUSTOMER GETS OFF THE ELEVATOR. SOME OF THESE OWNERS TRY TO RUSH ON ELEVATOR WITH THEIR DOGS AND DON'T RESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO ANIMALS.

This was the best hotel stay-cation at short notice, which was a pleasant surprise. The apartment- like suite was beautiful and felt like home. Hotel Management (Victor) the absolute best! He provided the best rate that was fair for a long-term stay. Easy access to I-55 and close to shopping and dining. I Highly recommend this location. Thank You Victor and staff!!!

Very happy with this hotel, it’s staff and the location. Room and hotel itself was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful ( manager Victor helped me with my changing reservation due to work schedule). My only regret is that I didn’t have time to use the indoor pool and hot tub.

The room was very comfortable, front desk folks were amazing!! Pool and hot tub my grandson enjoyed so much! Washer and dryers worked great! Breakfast was satisfactory! I would recommend staying there, and we will stay there again! We even extended our stay a extra day!

My stay here and accommodations were beyond exceptional. The staff including Victor from the front desk were kind and professional. It is rare to find hotels with this level of excellent service in a post covid era. An extremely amazing hotel I would recommend for you and your family if your in the Joliet mall loop area!

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower had hot water and good water pressure, and the staff were super friendly. The only issues we had were that most of the outlets didn't work in the room and the ones that did were controlled by a master light switch, which we didn't know until waking up in the morning to realize none of our batteries charged after we turned off the lights for bed. The pancake machine was also not working for breakfast and the elevator stopped working while we were checking out. Aside from those minor technical issues, it was a great stay.

The rooms were clean and quiet. Laundry on site was very convenient, WiFi was decent. It's location was amazing, close to the highway, shopping and restaurants. Overall, I would stay there again.

I read several really negative reviews about this place, but I am glad I found out for myself what it was really like. I'm assuming that those negative reviews were the result of the renovation that was taking place at the time. My experience here was a good one. The staff was friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Very quiet and no sign of crackheads or homeless people. Although the lighting around the kitchen area could be better, all in all it's a great place to stay. The bed was awesome!!!
